Amped Up has two weekends in June dedicated to adventure, races, and community involvement. We’d like to invite everyone- racers, fans, and the public- to join in on the fun.

AURORA – JUNE 15-16

Blues on the Fox – Nothing like starting an Adventure Race Weekend with an outdoor blues music festival! All Amped Up Adventure Race participants will receive a free ticket to get this Pre-Amped Up Party started at Blues on the Fox. We’ll be helping Aurora celebrate the opening of the new RiverEdge Park complete with outdoor music venue. Pre-registration and racer bag pick-up will also be at the pre-party.

The race will kick off on June 16th with the first heat of racers crossing the starting line at 8am. Awards will follow the race. Ballydoyle Irish Pub will be one of our hospitality partners – welcoming us in true Irish fashion with a cold beer after the race.

BELOIT – JUNE 28-29

Suds O’Hanahan’s Irish Pub and Rivals Sports Bar & Grill are the homes for the 2013 Beloit Pre-Amped Up Party. The Beloit Pre-Amped Up Party will be on Friday, June 28th with race bag pick up at Suds from 5:00 – 7:00pm. There will be live music, refreshments, kindred spirits of fellow racers, and games at both Suds and Rivals.

The Rock Bar & Grill will host the Beloit Big Hill Amped Up Adventure Race and act as the key transition point for the race. The route will encompass Big Hill Park, the Rock River trail, and the Rock River. Awards will follow the race at The Rock.

The Beloit race is the same weekend as the annual Krueger Pool Triathlon and anyone registering for the Beloit Amped Up Adventure Race at full price will receive a free registration to the Triathlon on Sunday, June 30th.

New Race Weekend Offers

We have several new offers for those interested in getting involved with the Amped Up Weekend.

-Amped Up Sponsors, Hampton Inn and Adventure Away, would like to offer a package race deal including a two-hour excursion on the newly named national waterway Rock River on Friday, June 28th, hotel stay, and Race entry on June 29th. This package is limited to the first 12 people interested in participating. Contact us for more information!

- All racers who pay full price for the Beloit Big Hill Amped Up Adventure Race will receive a free registration to the Krueger Pool Triathlon 2013 on June 30th.

New Relay Team Rates

Relay teams (2-4 People) are perfect for those who may not be so inclined to partake in one of the challenging components in the Amped Up Adventure Race. If you hate running, find someone who loves it and build your team around what the individuals enjoy and excel at. Registration is $100 dollars per team and each participant will complete one or more of the four challenges (running, biking, paddling, and obstacles).

This event is especially great for friends, family, and corporate team building. Get your team together and register today for the Amped Up races in Aurora (June 16) or Beloit (June 29)!!

Heros Ascent to the Top Challenge

The Amped Up Adventure race series is throwing down the gauntlet to all of our local heros – the courageous and brave firefighters, police and other protective service departments that keep us safe each and every day. The Ascent to the Top Challenge is designed to identify the top Amped Up protective service team with the best overall time. Team consists of two or more individuals with the best average time for the complete race. The team with the best time will take home the Ascent to the Top trophy as well as a donation of $250 to a charity of their choice.

The Ascent Challenge also includes youth, corporate, and fitness/wellness divisions. Get your team together and take on your local competition in these upcoming races!
