Evie Kevish from Hollywood Casino Models Art Shirt
On March 1st, Lisa Gloria was announced as the official artist for the Amped Up Adventure Race in Aurora, Illinois. Her painting has now been printed on limited edition T-shirts which will be available for order on May 27, 2012 at the Adventure Race in Aurora. The art is also featured on the race t-shirts that all racers and volunteers will receive.
Gloria, a native artist from Aurora, graduated from the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy in 1989, and later briefly studied art at the University of Illinois in Champaign Urbana. According to her website, her work is described as incorporating characteristics of realism, impressionism, and expressionism into depictions that draw the viewer into the picture. She seeks to create compelling images that engage the viewer on personal level as though the moment was captured solely for you.
The piece created specifically for the Amped Up Adventure Race is pictured being modeled by a Evie Kevish from Hollywood Casino, one of the Amped Up Adventure Race sponsors Inspired by the vibrant works of painter Leroy Neiman, the piece grabs the passion of the Race with layers of orange, blue and magenta.It is made using a technique called sublimation printing, which as well as providing a sharper image, also makes it possible for it to be an All-Over printed shirt.
Lisa Gloria herself will be present at the Amped Up Adventure Race on May 27th taking orders for the T-shirts.
