Aurora’s New RiversEdge Park
The Amped Up Adventure Race Series are races with a purpose. Each Amped Up Adventure Race will benefit an outdoor initiative in the host city. Amped Up Adventure Races are a true community effort, with each city embracing the race and putting their own unique stamp on it. The whole race experience will be designed around utilizing and showcasing the unique assets of each community. Each Amped Up Adventure Race will offer four different race components, biking, running, paddling and obstacle course for individuals, youth and teams.
Rockford Race
The Rockford race proceeds will go to support youth programming at Camp Winnebago of the YMCA of Rock River Valley, and a program that will assist Rockford Public Schools to strengthen and encourage outdoor activity and pursuits for their students.
Beloit Race
Big Hill Park Bridge Project
The Amped Up Adventure Race Series are races with a purpose. Each Amped Up Adventure Race will benefit an outdoor initiative in the host city. The Beloit race proceeds will support a city bike rental program and completion of a bike/pedestrian bridge that will connect Beloit and Janesville Bike Paths. The Bike Path project is an initiative of the Rock Trail Coalition with support from the communities & groups along the route. The Rock County Leadership Academy has taken the bridge building project on and the Amped Up Race is supporting their bridge building efforts.
Aurora Race
The Aurora Race proceeds will go towards supporting habitat improvements to the Fox River in Aurora, enhancing the paddling, biking and walking experience along the Fox River Trail.
